Tree Canada

Tree Canada is the only national nonprofit dedicated to planting and maintaining trees in rural and urban areas in every Canadian province. Isothermic’s 2023 contribution will result in the planting of enough trees to sequester about 400,000 tonnes of C02 over their lifetimes. We have committed to doubling our efforts in 2024.

Making conscious choices

Minimizing our carbon footprint to fight climate change means carefully selecting environmentally conscious suppliers, without compromise. We require our partners to have a strategic environmental and social plan that has an impact on both the planet and Isothermic.

Thanks to a collaboration with our extruder partner, our PVC is 100% recyclable, and all our fenestration products meet green construction standards set by the government’s ENERGY STAR program as well as those of LEED. We aim to offer our hybrid products, which are 50% recycled PVC. Thanks to our R&D, our new hybrid double windows feature an aluminum cover both indoors and out. This enables us to manufacture using 100% recycled and recyclable PVC.

Liquida Fenêtres

We’re using our Liquida Fenêtres initiative to provide quality doors and windows to people who need them through an online platform. These are doors and windows that are perfectly fine but maybe didn’t meet certain customer requirements (e.g., wrong size, wrong colour, or handle on the wrong side). In short, it’s a range of high-end products anyone can buy. This website and the effort behind it are a great service to local families.

Fondation du CHU de Québec

Health is the most precious thing we have, and that’s why we’ve joined forces with the largest healthcare foundation in eastern Quebec. As a major partner, we are proud to help humanize patient care from birth to end of life. Our president David Aubert has been involved with the Foundation’s board of directors since 2011, as well as the Finance Committee.

Tablée des Chefs

This movement was founded by Jean-François Archambault and aims to feed and educate people in need, especially young people. Isothermic proudly supports Tablée des chefs in fighting food waste and food insecurity and helping young people develop dietary self-sufficiency through the various programs it offers.

Club de ski Bromont

We are committed to promoting sport, achievement, and self-esteem among young people, which is why we are a Club de ski Bromont platinum partner. The club’s mission is to train young Eastern Township skiers and help them reach their full potential, so they can shine on the provincial and national scene.

Club Skibec alpin

Since 1969, Skibec Alpin has been a pillar for the development of young skiers and a springboard for elite skiers striving to be the best of the best. We believe in the next generation and we’re proud to contribute to the development of these athletes as a partner.

Various local causes

We work every year to support more causes near our head office and stores, such as Un sac pour toi and the Isothermic Arena in Disraeli. We give back to our community by supporting many organizations and volunteers. This is a social duty that we have pursued for more than 40 years.
